OPI I Don't Give A Rotterdam

I know that I am a bit late to the party but, better late than never.  I love the glass flecked shimmery goodness in this polish. Wooden Shoe Like to Know? let me down a bit on the nail this blew me away, so much shimmer in one bottle!

Application was great it went on like butter but a bit sheer, the second and third coats were quite thick. This was 3 coats with one coat of Gelous and Seche Vite. I just had a thought, this may be a good one for layering.

Kleancolor Chunky Holo Scarlett over Kleancolor Bite Me

As much as I loved Bite Me I am incapable of leaving well enough alone, thank god for that! I love this every angle was a bit better then the last.

Spring is on the Way!!!

I have been hoping and praying for some decent weather, finally it is here! I find that the older I get the more miserable I find winter. Gone are the days of running around without a coat thinking it's not cold enough to bother, now I'm in layers! I spend hours arguing with my kids now, trying to explain that it really is cold enough. I guess what goes around comes around...sorry Mom!

The sun has started to show up on a somewhat regular basis and I am so looking forward to some summer colours, thinking it might even be time for a pedicure!

I love this colour, this was 3 fairly thick coats with 1 coat of Gelous and 1 coat Seche Vite. For a neon application was pretty good, thicker coats was the key to keeping it smooth.

China Glaze Flying Dragon...aka the icebreaker

Flying Dragon is a polish that is special to me, it is the first polish that I ever bought that was an "unconventional" colour. I remember standing it the beauty supply completely in love with the gorgeous blue bits in there for about 20 minutes before I worked up the nerve to actually bring her home with me. How times have changed! Without this polish I would still be wearing nothing but earth tones and neutrals. From here on out it was neon's and glitter!

3 Coats Flying Dragon, 1 Gelous and 1 Seche Vite

For a neon the application was great although the top coat did seen to darken the purple a bit.

OPI Wooden Shoe Like to Know

I saw this one and the shimmer made me crave it, I have a huge thing for shimmery goodness right now. I really love the shade of this but I wish the shimmer would show on the nail like it does in the bottle. I have to admit I was a bit disappointed. Still a pretty polish though, it reminds me of chocolate milk.

Formula was great, this was 2 coats with 1 coat Gelous and 1 coat Seche Vite



As much as I liked the chocolatey brown of Wooden Shoe Like to Know? it was a bit plain, the shimmer was not as noticeable on the nail as it was in the bottle. I could not resist adding a bit of bling and Essie As Gold As It Gets was one of my untrieds, I thought they would make a great couple. I really like how subtle the Essie is, not full on bling but just a bit of sparkle.

China Glaze Kiwi Cool-Ada

This is one of those polishes that I picked up on a whim on a trip through my local beauty supply. I got it home and thought, what are you nuts you will never have the nerve to wear that! That was over a year ago.
A couple of weeks ago my step daughter came over and decided she was up for a mani (yes, I grab everyone that walks into my house) She shopped my stash and came up with this baby. I have to admit I was shocked but hey, it looked great on her!
This week we had a bright sunny day that felt to much like spring I decided to go wild. I`m glad I did, it really is great. The looks I got from the soccer Mom`s were great too!!!

This was 4 coats and I think it could have used 1 more, 1 Coat of Gelous and 1 coat Seche Vite.

I always have a hard time with neons and was going to try to put white underneath but of course my daughter ``put it away`` and now it is missing.

Kleancolor Bite Me

I love this juicy red! Kleancolor formula as always is weird but once you accept that it is alright to work with. Thick, goopy and so very thirsty for thinner but that said I could have almost got away with 1 coat. This was 2 coats with 1 coat of Gelous and 1 coat of Seche Vite.

OPI Metallic for Life

This was just as good as I expected. Formula was good and the coverage was fantastic. What more can I say?
